Caught in hotel with beau, girl paraded around town

A shocking incident of cops turning to moral policing in Uttar Pradesh. A girl was paraded on the streets of Muzaffarpur after police find her with a male friend in a city hotel.
The bizarre incident took place on Tuesday. The couple was picked up from Rajmohan hotel in the town.
The man and manager of the hotel have been detained. The girl was taken from the hotel to the office of the SSP inspite of her repeated pleading.
What is alarming is that Muzaffarpur police are not willing to answer why the girl was subjected to public humiliation.
In a similar incident, police in Bhagalpur district of Bihar had dragged an alleged criminal by tying him to a motorcycle
